love the use of strike out rather than brackets/parentheses… great use of page space to.
the use of the vernacular (cat piss) reminds me of one of the more powerful lines in a poem i’d read, a while back – it highlights the use and power of swear words, when used sparingly, they can paint huge effects… i think the line was ‘and the cancer ate through her / like horse piss through snow.’
